Lots of news...

First, and probably the most exciting... we are having our last baby, and (drumroll please...) it is a BOY!!! Yes, I know that we are probably crazy, but during the last year and a half while our lives were so chaotic and downright hard, the one thing that has always given us comfort is our kids. Both of us felt that there was one more kiddo, and though we tried to push that thought away, we feel very strongly that this little guy just needs to be with our family, so here we go again! He should be making his appearance sometime mid-January, and our kids are thrilled.

And in other news...

The girls finished a strong summer of swim team. They both did fabulous. Camille took 2 first and a 3rd at the county meet, and Katelyn took 2nd in Breast (though she was a good head smaller than her competitors). She also did great in her free and back events.

I did do a triathlon with a bunch of friends and sisters at the end of August (at about 18 1/2 weeks) and I did finish (yeah for me!) We had a great time, and next year, when I can push myself harder, I plan to do it again.

The whole gang (minus Nathalie-- who was getting her bike put away or something). This is before the race... we aren't all sweaty yet!

My girls did the kids triathlon that morning. They both did great!

Post-race... see we're all sweaty now, but so excited we finished.

Camille and her best friend Sarah.

Now that has to be the cutest 6 year old in the race!!!

"Nice form Camille! Go!"

And of course, we started a new school year...
Camille is a big bad fourth grader, and is so excited to be in my class. So far, so good. She is an excellent student and is really always on task. She loves that her best friends are in there too.
Katelyn is in first grade, and loves that she gets to stay at school all day and eat lunch there. She has a great teacher, and she apparently (according to playground monitors) has a pack of kids who follow her around. She is making lots of new friends and loves the adventure of a new year.

Spencer started his pre-school again this year. He is still going to the Provo School District preschool, where he is getting help with his speech and hearing. He gets to ride the bus everyday, and loves being big like his sisters. Unfortunately he still has 2 years before Kindergarten at mommy's school. He is excited that he doesn't have to pack a diaper in his backpack because he is a big boy. He is so excited to have a new baby brother, but yesterday told me his new brother has one eye closed like a pirate. :)

And just cause... a picture of the Loo. This kid is SOOO funny. She is becoming very independent, and really does strut around the house like she is just one of the big kids. We can't get enough of this crazy girl. :)
