Emmy Loo

Today, 2 years ago,

my little Loo was born.
She was born during the most difficult time
of our lives.
She was a shining light in our "darkest" time.
We love her for bringing that light.
She was a powerful reminder of the
love that our Heavenly Father has for our family.
She is an important link.
Wow!
What a crazy two years?
We are SO grateful for this
little spitfire.

It's funny, before I had any kids,
I dreamed of a blue-eyed, brown haired little girl.
After I had my first two girls,
and then a boy,
I began to think that it was just that, a dream.
Then came my Emmy.
It was her I was dreaming of.
She didn't want me to forget about her.

Oh, how I love this little one.
Her loves include:
Her pink blankie
(it gets really gross from time to time cause she drags it around)
Her bottle
(I know, I'm trying to get her off it)
Her sissies
(Milly and Kate)
Her brothers, especially Owie (so cute when she says his name)
Her daddy (she has been a daddy's girl from day 1)
Any adventure
(she is my daring one)

I can't wait to see what the future holds for this one.

Random

Ok... So I have some random pictures on my phone of different things we've been up to...
This beauty had a GRAND time celebrating her birthday a few times.
We had a great family birthday dinner on Sunday.
Everyone who was around came.
I LOVE my family (both sides).
It is so fun to have such supportive brothers, sisters, in-laws, cousins, etc.

She loves it!

And this stubborn little one has had a loose tooth for a few weeks now, but
WOULD NOT
allow anyone to touch it.
She finally got it out on her own.

Well, Camille has been looking forward to this for a LONG time.
She finally gets to be a lunch worker.

School Art Show

My school puts on this amazing art show annually.

It is really quite stunning.

Camille has quite a few piece in this year's show.
The art teacher selected several of hers to display.

They get all their artistic talents from me. :)

My First Born

Today, I have been a mother for 10 years.
It's amazing how quickly life changes, and how perspectives change too.
This is my beautiful Milly a whole decade old.
I can't believe it!

This is Camille at her first birthday.
Those dark eyes are still the same.
They are sincere.

I love how much Camille LOVES her family.
She is my sensitive one.
The one who looks after the rest of us.
She feels things.
She is beautiful inside and out.

And this is her passion...
She LOVES to dance.
She dances all around the house.
She leaps and turns as she is getting things out of the fridge.
I love to watch her.
I was definitely not graceful like she is.

On this Mother's day, I am so grateful that this little lady's birth made me a mother,
so I could learn to be selfless,
so I could have a good sense of what is important,
so I could love and snuggle with my babies.
Oh, how I love you Milly!

This boy is so funny!

This boy finished up his soccer season the other day... it started out all nice and sunny (yet cool) and ended in a HUGE snow storm. We were cold! This boy got better and better as the season progressed. He even scored a goal at his 2nd to last game. Both Cameron and I didn't quite catch seeing the goal, but his face was priceless as he ran out of the huddle of kids surrounding the ball and net.

He does this face EVERY time I tell him to smile.

These nice drawings are some fancy ones he left on my phone. There is a drawing app that the kids can draw, then take a picture of their drawing. I find these every so often on my phone.

I especially love this pig-ish thing...

I took these two shopping the other day...

I know I'm crazy,
but aren't they so cute in this thing.

is just so dang funny.

that Clint so lovingly

at Ezra's birthday party.
It's kind of a family joke now.
We were driving to Katelyn's soccer game,
I turned around,
and saw this kid
wearing the headband
like he was the coolest kid ever.
Cam and I couldn't stop laughing.
This is my kid who tells me he loves me everyday.
He kisses me.
He chases me,
I chase him.
Oh, I love to squeeze him.

He is so squeezable.
I love to make him smile.
He smiles often!
He started laughing too.
I kiss him daily.
Who wouldn't?

Don't get me wrong, I love my girls...
but oh, there is just something about a momma's boys!

Spring Break-- Warning Long Post

Wow! What a refreshing Spring Break this was? It was so nice to have a full week off. Here is a run down of our week.

First,
we kicked off the break with Camille's dance program at school.
This is Camille and her dance partner.

Then,
It was off to Kanosh for the Annual Easter Festivities.
Town Easter Egg Hunt
(We made it just in time this year... even with Cameron getting pulled over)
Then Family lunch and swimming at the pool.

The kids dyed eggs with Cameron's parents while we snuck out for a little date
and to hang out with our good friends Brandon and Christy.

The kids had a great time easter morning.

This is Owen on Easter Morning... it was cold, so I put this Beanie on him.
With the outfit,
I thought he looked like Rocky.
I sang the "Eye of the Tiger" to him several times that day.

Next,
we decided to stay an extra day because Camille is doing her county report on
Millard County
(where we were, where Cameron is from)
We visited the Territorial Statehouse
Cove Fort
Lehman Caves (technically in Nevada, but in the Great Basin National Park
which is partially in Millard County)
This is the kids being sworn in as Jr. Rangers at Lehman Caves (after we did the tour).
Digging for Trilobites

Then,
We got home.
My good friend Meghan was visiting from Seattle
and brought her cute boys to come stay with us for a few days.
I didn't get a lot of pictures, but this is a cute one of our new baby boys.

They are only 2 weeks apart.
She calls her baby Bean, aka Zachary.
He is cute. Daniel (her older boy) and Spence fought most of the week.
They have a love/hate relationship. They always have.
We went to Chuckie Cheese to let the kids play.
The next day, I met Mike and his kids at McDonalds to play.
Then the kids had to clean the house.

On Friday,
we headed up to IKEA.
I bought some essential organizing items, and
let the kids play in the playland for an hour.
It was fun.
This is what I got done with the "stuff".

Following that,
we headed up to West Valley to stay at a sweet hotel.
It had an indoor water park.
We played for a few hours.
Little O loved his first time swimming.


The next morning, the older kids swam again.
Then we headed up to Syracuse for my cute nephew Z's birthday party.
It was a "Wild Things" party.

And then,
on Sunday, we started a new tradition with some of our ward friends.
Each Fast Sunday, we trade houses for dinner and a family home evening lesson.
It was fun!

We are plum tuckered out, but definitely feeling refreshed!
I think I can handle the rest of the school year now.
